As per the policy decision under the XI Plan of the UGC and the National Action Plan of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Rabindranath Tagore University, Hojai, Assam has been established to ensure continuous, comprehensive, and systematic evaluation of institutional performance through quality sustenance and enhancement measures. The IQAC fosters a culture of quality by developing academic and administrative benchmarks, promoting learner-centric teaching–learning practices, strengthening research and innovation, and ensuring effective feedback mechanisms and documentation. It plays a pivotal role in institutional planning, monitoring, and evaluation, including the preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), thereby contributing to sustainable quality improvement and excellence in higher education.
